hi there!!

i am extremely happy these days, as i've been in the recording studio finally, working on my full length album!  i am so excited for you to hear it when it comes out. 

so far i've had 2 very long sessions, recording the instrumentals and it's been quite an experience.  first off, i have the most talented musicians working with me, Tim Thorne my drummer from the very start (and my very constructive critic ), and Rich Berta, guitar and bass player (and he can do everything else, too!).  We had a very interesting experience the 2nd day.   We were recording "Child in Me", and literally did it like 30 times.  The song kept going through many transformations, (inspired mostly by Tim), and finally i started to get irritated because we were taking too long.  we were actually writing an composing the song during a recording session!  so i let him know i was upset which ended in me wanting to stop for the day.  Well i was convinced by all to just take a break and listen to what we'd done so far.  so that's what we did and the magic started then and there!  listening to all that we'd laid down already, we all started coming up with so many wonderful ideas in terms of production and arrangements, it was a moment every creative person craves and waits for.  and we were able to go back and record "Child in Me"(it only went through 7 more transformations!!  haha!)



i can't wait for you to hear it all, and maybe a clip of Tim & I's fight will be included somewhere along the way, after i get a chance to find it among all the recordings!  now that i look back on it, it's pretty funny (although it wasn't during it), and it's what lead to a song that we feel very good about, and hopefully you will too!
